First Year Teacher Academy Day 3



The purpose of this academy is to provide new teachers with the resources and support they need in order to enjoy a successful teaching career.  This workshop will use the Heart of Teaching Series with Lead4ward for helping new teachers succeed.  At the end of this Academy, teachers will: 1- be able to utilize the lesson cycle to plan effective lessons, 2- be able to use instructional technology to improve teaching and assessment, 3- be open and active learners through professional development, 4- develop an effective mission statement, and 5- become a reflective practitioner.
