L2L ELIITE Program: An Intensive Training for Autism Program Development in PPCD
Cohort 2



Learning 2 Learn: Early Learners Intensive, Individualized, Teaching Environment

This is a 4 day training for teachers and paraprofessionals who work in ECSE/PRE-K classrooms, specifically with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Training objectives include:

Day 1: Practical evidence-based interventions including Applied Behavior Analysis for teachers: Learn about Discrete Trial Training, Verbal Behavior Training, Relational Frame Theory,  and how to use them in your classroom. We will also address functional communication, socialization, and establish systems according to student need. 

Day 2: 1 Day VB-MAPP Assessment Training: Learn how to administer this assessment and use the results to guide curriculum programming. 

Day 3: 1/2 Day Aligning VB-MAPP/PEAK with state standards and using results to guide IEP goals and objectives. 

Day 3: 1/2 Day Environmental Set Up and Direct Instruction 

Day 4: 1/2 Day Curriculum and Lesson Planning 

Day 4: 1/2 Practice and coaching feedback on lesson implementation using DTT, VBT, and RFT learned on day 1 and 2.

A Zoom Link will be sent to participants the morning of the first day. 

Important Session Information:


  • This 4 Day Training is inclusive and in order to receive credit, all days must be attended. 
  • Teachers are strongly encouraged to bring curriculum or lesson plans they plan to use for 2019 school year as we will be aligning it with this training.
