Learning 2 Learn: Early Learners Intensive, Individualized, Teaching Environment

This is a 4 day training for teachers and paraprofessionals who work in ECSE/PRE-K classrooms, specifically with students with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Training objectives include:

Day 1: Practical applied behavior analysis for teachers: Learn about discrete trial training, Verbal Behavior Training, Relational Frame Theory,  and how to use them in your classroom. We will also address functional communication and socialization and establish systems according to student need. 

Day 2: 1 Day VB-MAPP/PEAK Assessment Training: Learn how to administer these assessments and use the results to guide curriculum programming. 

Day 3: 1/2 Day Aligning VB-MAPP/PEAK with state standards and using results to guide IEP goals and objectives. 

Day 3: 1/2 Day Environmental Set Up and Direct Instruction 

Day 4: 1/2 Day Curriculum and Lesson Planning 

Day 4: 1/2 Practice and coaching feedback on lesson implementation using DTT, VBT, and RFT learned on day 1.

Important Session Information:

• This 4 Day Training is inclusive and in order to receive credit, all days must be attended. 

• Teachers are strongly encouraged to bring curriculum or lesson plans they plan to use for 2019 school year as we will be aligning it with this training.
