Assessment of Dual Language Learners: Understanding the C-LIM



This evaluation webinar series is for Diagnosticians, LSSPs, and any other special education evaluation staff. The webinar series will have multiple webinars during the school year with topics related to special education evaluations.

This webinar will NOT be held at the Region 17 Education Service Center.  It will be accessed through your computer.  Please register through the Region 17 website with your ISD email address.  A link to the webinar will be emailed to you prior to the webinar event.

The purpose of this web-based presentation is to review best practices that may be utilized by monolingual and bilingual school psychologists when assessing dual language learners. A particular focus will be given to the Culture-Language Interpretive Matrix (C-LIM).Specifically, this presentation will review strengths and weaknesses of the C-LIM as well as provide attendees with a step-by-step guide for using the C-LIM to assess the validity of traditional cognitive test batteries administered to DLLs.
