Module One Objectives:

  • To understand cultural competence/relevance.
  • To gain a deeper understanding of how biases impact how we perceive different cultures. 
  • To better understand the ways in which privilege(s) may act as barriers in the development of curriculum for diverse students.
  • To increase cultural self-awareness and understand the ways in which culture influences values and behaviors.
