This training will cover the responsibilities of the Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) and provide members with updated information and requirements that must be considered in program implementation including: identification, placement, reclassification, exit, monitoring, documentation, and assessment decisions for English Learners (ELs).
Participants will get the latest updates on program implementation and the LPAC Decision-making Manual.
The successful completion of this TOT LPAC training will certify and prepare each participant to go back to district to train committee in order to meet compliance.
ALL LPAC MEMBERS MUST TRAIN ANNUALLY in order to fulfill TEA requirements and compliance expectations. This training will meet requirement for New and returning LPAC members.
