Mathematics Achievement Academy: Problem Solving and Discourse, Grade 2



This academy is designed to:

  • connect problem solving experiences and discourse strategies to deepen the content experienced in the original Mathematics Achievement Academy, Grade 2;
  • explore and apply the problem-solving model found in the TEKS as a tool to help students make sense of mathematics and to help the mathematics make sense to students; and
  • explore and apply mathematical language routines to equip students to communicate their mathematical understanding with clarity.

Experiences include:

This 3 hour face-to-face sessions, online portion (self-paced over a 5-week period), and a final 3 hour face-to-face in the summer session (TBD)

 

This training does include a stipend as well.  I am offering 20 spots so please register as soon as possible
