Ready Bodies, Learning Minds
Cultivating the Complete Child

Attendance for both days of this training is expected in order to receive full credit and training materials. This program was created to support the developmental, motor, sensory, and academic growth of all students—special education, at-risk, and regular education. First Day: The Ready Bodies, Learning Minds© program emphasizes the powerful and essential connection between motor and sensory development and the ability to perform the many tasks necessary for independence, behavioral control, and academic achievement. Limited attention span, poor posture, restlessness, problems with spatial relationships, behavior issues, and slow academic progress are common signs of an immature neurological and musculoskeletal system. Second Day: The Ready Bodies Motor Labs are designed to be implemented as an individual intervention used by a therapist, as a classroom center or activity, as an adaptive physical education, or as a campus-wide curriculum. The program is simple to administer, does not require specific referrals, and can be used for all students.
