Charting the Course - Your Plan, Your Future
12th grade event



This event will provide students, parents, and teachers with important Transition information related to self-determination/self-awareness, IEP involvement, Transition planning, career exploration, and post-secondary employment opportunities.       


Important Session Information:


Region 17 and the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) would like to invite you to set sail and "Chart Your Course" to Self-Determination Island.  This event is for 12th grade students, their parents and teachers.  Ann Deschamps, Ed.D. from TransCen Career and Workforce Development will provide information on a variety of Transition planning topics.  Lunch will be provided.

Students will need to bring a copy of their current ARD/IEP and information to complete a resume (i.e. volunteer experience, household chores).
