Reading to Write
Getting STAAR-Ready

Idea Development and Organization Skills

Important Session Information:

Every Writing Teacher knows that to be a successful writer, one needs to address the Six Traits.  In this workshop, participants will address two of the six traits: Idea Development and Organization.

Participants will be taken through a demo-lesson in order to experience what students experience.  Following this, participants will break down the experience to better understand the steps in developing ideas and organizing those ideas.

We will record the day's discoveries in real time so that those "Aha!" moments are captured as well as those opportunities for differentiation.
