Writing Scientific Conclusions using the CER (Claim-Evidence-Reasoning) Method

Scientific writing is one way to assess student understanding of what takes place in an investigation. Using the CER method of writing conclusions is a structured way to help students make a claim, support it with evidence, and back it with scientific principles. Spend the day with us doing hands-on investigations and practicing writing CER conclusions. Leave with rubrics and templates that will help your students write more scientifically. (A limited number of laptops will be available to borrow during the session.)
