CACFP Budget



This training will focus on financial requirements of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).   Participants will become more familiar with CACFP budget guidelines that will help contracting entities who operate a CACFP prepare for their next audit. 

Areas of focus:

  • How to determine an accurate Average Daily Participation (ADP)
  • CACFP budget line items in TX-UNPS
  • How to apply for Specific Prior Written Approval (SPWA)
  • Requirements that must be followed when using CACFP funds for labor compensation
  • How to properly figure depreciation for less-than-arms length transactions
  • How to track your CACFP financial information separately from other program information
