LCU Research Day: A fat by any other name would still smell as sweet?
Presenter: LCU Chemistry Professors

Learn how state of the art research applies to food consumption. The Biochemistry Research Laboratory at Lubbock Christian University will teach you how to conduct research and demonstrate how that research applies to critical financial decision making. You will learn how to extract fat, analyze the fat by chromatography, and see how the results affect the performance of the product. Participants will conduct hands-on experiments to learn these techniques and walk away with ideas about how to incorporate research into the classroom.

Monday, April 16th, LCU Ling Science Center, Biochemistry Research Lab (BRL), rooms 120 and 124, 9:00-11:30 and 1:00-4:00
