Secondary Curriculum and Planning Day (5th and 6th Six Weeks)
Presenter: Michelle Sedberry



Planning times will be offered during 2017-2018 for 6-12th grade science teachers. Each planning time will be structured into two sections. The morning section will have a vertical alignment piece where we will look at content coming up and compare the old and new standards and a teach piece on how to increase critical thinking and the metacognitive level of students in your classroom. The afternoon is designed to allow teachers to work in grade level groups to plan and swap ideas. Science Specialist Michelle Sedberry will be available for instructional coaching during this time.
