Liberty Kids-Social Studies Institute
Kids need to understand basic concepts such as the need for rules and laws, characteristics of a good citizen and respect for authority. This training, by Texas Law-Related Education, will provide resources that demonstrate these concepts as well as the symbols, customs, and celebrations that represent America’s identity. Materials will include hands-on activities and the use of children’s literature and biographical information to help teach students about the notable historic figures featured in the TEKS standards.
