Panhandle STEM Conference 2018
Conference Without Borders



Learning Without Borders:

This two-day conference, held at Region 17 ESC in Lubbock, will bring together K-12 mathematics, science, computer science and engineering educators from across the Panhandle, South Plains, and surrounding areas. The keynote speakers include Matt Miller, author of Ditch That Textbook, Dr. Geneva Schaeffer STEM speaker and Wanda Terral, Google Innovator and Tech Director. Participants will also attend multiple breakout sessions in mathematics, science, and STEM areas. This year's conference will also feature well known speakers including the Amoeba Sisters and Aaron Daffern. 

There will be a $30 registration fee paid by either PO #, credit card, or check directly to Region 17 ESC.

** If your session is accepted your registration will be waived and you may attend the conference for free. Put in discount code: presenter when registering.

*** Registration and attendance, or participation in, PSC conference and other activities constitutes an agreement by registrant to PSC's use and distribution of the registrant or attendee's image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities.


Important Session Information:


Hotel Blocks:

Hotel Blocks will be available on a first come first serve basis. When booking your hotel by phone make sure and tell them you are a part of the "Panhandle STEM Conference." This will get you one of our rooms at a discounted price. **Blocks are available until July 9th or until the rooms are all booked.**

VIP Events:

We are pleased to be able to provide VIP after hours events for you on the evening of July 24th. Each of these events will require participants to reserve a spot. The space is limited and first come first serve.

Policy on Children:

Children under 18 are not allowed on the property during the Panhandle STEM Conference. The conference and VIP events are for participants only. No additional guest tickets will be available.
