Trauma Informed Care



This workshop is developed based on The Cal Farley Model of Leadership and Servivce and will focus on multiple aspects of trauma including the following items:

  • Brain development
  • How early caregiver experiences impact brain development
  • How early experiences and trauma drive behavior throughout our lifetimes and change our capacity to learn and be in relationships with others
  • The difference between behavior modification and trauma informed care
  • What can be done to remediate the effects of trauma
  • Practice application of this information
