This workshop is developed based on The Cal Farley Model of Leadership and Servivce and will focus on multiple aspects of trauma including the following items:
- Brain development
- How early caregiver experiences impact brain development
- How early experiences and trauma drive behavior throughout our lifetimes and change our capacity to learn and be in relationships with others
- The difference between behavior modification and trauma informed care
- What can be done to remediate the effects of trauma
- Practice application of this information
