The PBIS approach includes a wide range of practices across the
different tiers of support that focuses on delivering positive strategies for
preventing problems, teaching and encouraging pro-social skills, and
putting systems into place to make the strategies easy for staff to implement
over time. Dr. Riffel will provide behavior intervention strategies at
the universal, secondary, and tertiary levels within the school setting, giving
teachers the necessary tools to address behavior problems within their
classrooms.
