Business Services - Operational Training Workshop

Business Services Operational Workshops are designed to provide district staff with focused, practical training that builds knowledge and strengthens skills in key business operations. This workshop will cover three important topics designed to support district compliance, efficiency, and financial stewardship.

Important Session Information:

This work day is designed to help districts review and validate their new fiscal year general ledger. The primary focus will be ensuring account coding aligns with the TEA Financial Accountability System Resource Guide (FASRG), helping districts identify and correct potential issues early to avoid reporting challenges later in the year.
During the session, ESC Region 17 staff will provide individualized support by reviewing account codes within district financial systems and helping identify potential coding concerns or areas that may require attention. This is a valuable opportunity to receive expert guidance, improve data accuracy, and strengthen compliance before reporting deadlines approach.
If your district would like to take advantage of this additional review and support, be sure to register and join us for this work day!
