Counseling as a Related Service

Providing counseling as a related service is much more than meeting with students—it requires intentional planning, collaboration, data-based decision making, and a clear connection to educational outcomes. Join us as we explore the purpose of counseling as a related service, the roles of district mental health providers, legal and ethical considerations, effective intervention strategies, and ways to measure student progress. Through real-world examples, discussion, and practical tools, participants will gain strategies to deliver meaningful, educationally relevant counseling services that support student success.
