Grades 3-5 Math STAAR Review

This session is designed to equip Grades 3–5 teachers with practical strategies and high-leverage routines that build strong mathematical thinkers and prepare students for STAAR with confidence and clarity. Throughout our time together, we’ll dig into the TEKS and assessment expectations, explore ways to strengthen students’ reasoning and problem-solving, and analyze data to identify the highest-impact opportunities for review. By the end of this professional learning, you’ll walk away with tools that not only support STAAR readiness but also empower students to see themselves as capable, confident mathematicians.

As a result of our learning together, teachers will:

  • Make intentional review decisions grounded in student data

  • Engage with high-leverage routines that reinforce conceptual understanding and procedural fluency

  • Leave with engaging and interactive review activities for classroom use

Important Session Information:

It would be helpful to have an electronic device, student data, and a school calendar for our time together.
