This session will provide information related to the Teacher Incentive Allotment, including the requirements, timeline, navigating the TIA website, & available resources and support.

Important Session Information:


This comprehensive session equips district leaders with the knowledge and tools needed to develop robust teacher observation systems and select appropriate student growth measures for their Teacher Incentive Allotment program. Participants will explore best practices for aligning observation processes with TIA requirements while examining various student growth measurement options to create a balanced and effective local designation system.

Teacher Observation Component:

  • TIA Observation Requirements: Minimum frequency, evaluator qualifications, and documentation standards
  • Observation Tool Selection: Choosing or adapting rubrics that align with district goals and TIA standards
  • Evaluator Training: Calibration processes and inter-rater reliability protocols
