Engaging Students in the Math Classroom--Grades 2-5

Do you want your students to think like mathematicians, collaborate effectively, and build the confidence to tackle challenging problems? This workshop is designed to help teachers create math classrooms where students are actively engaged, experience productive struggle, and develop the social skills needed for collaborative learning. Together, we’ll explore strategies and structures that foster deep mathematical thinking, improve math achievement, and build students’ math literacy. Participants will experience engaging, hands-on activities and walk away with practical ideas that can be integrated into lessons immediately.
