Fentanyl Awareness & Opioid Overdose Response Training for School Staff-ASYNCHRONOUS



This training equips school staff with essential knowledge & skills to recognize and respond to opioid overdoses, including fentanyl-related incidents, in the school setting.  Participants will learn to:

  • Identify the signs & symptoms of an opioid-related overdose
  • Administer an opioid antagonist (e.g., naloxone/Narcan).
  • Implement emergency procedures when responding to an overdose.
  • Properly store & dispose of opioid antagonists.

Through interactive discussions and scenario-based learning, school personnel will gain confidence in taking life-saving actions to protect students & staff.
