Introduction to School Nutrition Leadership Series (Part 1 of 3)
Day 1



This is a six-day training intended for new school nutrition program directors with five years' or less experience. Lessons provide an overview of school nutrition programs, define the role and responsibilities of a director, and review the relationship between local policies and State/Federal regulations. Although geared to participants with five years' or fewer experience, the audience may include more experienced school nutrition professionals.

The entire training is 40.5 hours, and the course content is divided into six days of training.

This is Part 1 of 3 training sessions for this course totaling 40.5 hours. Each part is composed of two separate days of 6-hour trainings. 

Part 1: April 2 and 3, 2025

Part 2: May 1 and 2, 2025

Part 3: June 5 and 6, 2025
