Standards-Based Individualized Education Program (IEP) Process Training - 2 DAY EVENT



The focus of this session is developing a present levels of academic achievement and functional performance (PLAAFP) statement based on student data, drafting measurable annual goals (academic and/or functional) and short-term objectives/benchmarks, if appropriate, and collecting data for reporting progress.

Participants will understand the importance of these components and how their alignment results in an appropriate and ambitious individualized education program for students receiving special education and related services.

The intended audience for this training is special education teachers, related service providers, and any other professional staff responsible for drafting a student’s IEP, including the PLAAFP and measurable annual goals. 


Important Session Information:


This a 2-day event (July 14th & 15th)

ALL participants must attend BOTH days in order to receive credit for attending.  You will not be allowed to only attend only one day or a portion of one day.
