Annotation, Questioning, Analysis, Comprehension, and Connections
In this professional learning, teachers will review past STAAR questions, analyze student misconceptions, and address how to prepare students' thinking for the 2025 STAAR Assessment.
Teachers will take part in annotation excercises, questioning rounds, and take time to evaluate their own comprehension of and connections to the sample texts.
Time will be taken for teachers to review the practices, discuss with each other, and plan how each practice will be implemented in their classrooms.
