Risk Assessment & Internal Controls with TEA



TEA, as a pass-through entity, is required under Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations to evaluate each sub-recipient risk of non-compliance with Federal Statutes, regulations and the terms and conditions of the sub-award to detect any patterns of or potential risks of non-compliance.  This training will be facilitated by TEA to communicate the specifics of the 24-25 risk assessment indicators with guidance to LEAs on remaining compliant on the federal and state level. The value and process of successful internal controls within your LEA will also be discussed.
