School Psychologists: Equitable Practices for Special Student Populations



School psychologists have knowledge of individual differences, abilities, disabilities, and other characteristics and the impact they have on development and learning. They also understand principles and research related to children, families, schools, and communities.

In this session, participants will:

  • Discuss the unique challenges VI and D/HH students face
  • Review evaluation strategies for school psychologists working with VI and D/HH students
  • Identify ways to support VI and D/HH students
