Enhancing IEPs: Ensuring Quality and Rigor

This session is for educators who support students with significant cognitive disabilities/Complex Access Needs.  As part of this training, you'll receive a Quality and Rigor Rubric designed to guide and elevate your IEP development process. This powerful tool will support educators in crafting high-quality, rigorous IEPs tailored to students with Complex Access Needs (CAN).  Through this training, educators will gain a better understanding of key IEP components, including PLAAFP, Goals/Objectives, and Progress Monitoring Methods, and learn how to effectively apply the Quality & Rigor Rubric to the PLAAFP, goals, objectives, and progress monitoring sections of the IEP.  This hands-on approach will equip you with practical strategies to improve IEP effectiveness and outcomes for your students.
