Teen Dating Safety/Violence and Sexual Misconduct

Teens can become easily victimized by false promise of relationships. Join us for a virtual training as Houston Crime Stoppers and the Safe School Initiative discuss different types of relationships to explain the importance of setting goals and boundaries, and reveal how to spot unhealthy behaviors. A detailed definition of consent is provided as well as proactive steps students can take to protect themselves and peers. Learn when to emphasize protections through Title IX and legal orders as it is imperative to encourage students to take actions when necessary.
