In this session, we will discuss key aspects surrounding the reclassification of students participating in the TELPAS Alternate assessment. Participation of attendees will be encouraged to optimize understanding of possible student goals and activities as we discuss a multitude of learning abilities and how language acquisition may or may not be a contributing factor.
We will emphasize the significance of prompt coordination between LPAC and ARD committees when contemplating alternative reclassification methods for students participating in both TELPAS Alternate and STAAR Alternate assessments.
