Ensuring Compliance with the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students

In September 2024, the SBOE approved changes to both the TAC and the G/T State Plan. This session is the perfect opportunity to dig into the plan, the changes that were made, and the ways we can assure that our districts stay in compliance.

This session will closely examine the requirements of the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students.  District leaders, campus leaders, and G/T teachers will learn what G/T education and services should look like in Texas so that they can identify areas for growth in their district service plan.
