Mental Health Matters: Self-Esteem/NSSI
Join us for an insightful exploration of non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) and self-esteem, approached with empathy and a trauma-informed lens. We will examine the complexities of NSSI, including its underlying causes, personal experiences, emotional triggers, and the ways it impacts individuals' lives as well as highlighting the importance of self-worth and its impact on mental well-being. Our discussion will focus on fostering awareness and support among students equipping everyone with the knowledge and tools to recognize signs, offer compassionate intervention, and access appropriate resources.
