M&M- Multisyllabic Words and Morphemes



In this session, participants will review the six syllable types, learn strategies for breaking words into syllables, and strategies for teaching students to read multisyllabic words.  Participants will also learn the meanings of common roots and affixes and how directly teaching them will help students to both read and comprehend text.
