Building Automaticity and Fluency: Reading To Learn Grades 4 & 5 Follow Up, Day 1

Day 1 will focus on Word Study and Recognition, and Fluency.  Participants will gain a deeper understanding of English orthographic rules, decoding strategies, and effective methods for teaching spelling. Fluency and comprehension have a reciprocal relationship in that fluency forms the bridge between word recognition and meaning construction. Join us as we delve deeper into the Reading to Learn Academy materials and handouts to meet the needs of all learners including English Language Learners and special education students.

Please bring your Reading to Learn Binder with you to the session as we will access it during the training.
