Gifted Talk with Greg: Inside the Mind of Ron Beghetto: Supporting Creative Learning Under Uncertainty (Originally presented on 4/23/20) Available 9/24 - 12/31, 2020

Join Region 17 G/T Specialist Greg Reeves and his special guest, creativity expert Dr. Ron Beghetto, for an hour long Zoom conversation on how we might better understand the role creativity plays in teaching our gifted students. The session was recorded in April of 2020. Once you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your Zoom link and code. The link will remain active through December 31, 2020. 

Dr. Beghetto is an internationally recognized expert on creative thought and action in educational settings. He holds the Pinnacle West Presidential Chair and serves as a Professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University.

Dr. Beghetto is the Editor for the Journal of Creative Behavior, series editor for Creative Theory and Action in Education (Springer Books), and serves as a creativity advisor for Lego Foundation.

He is also a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts (Div. 10, APA). He is the 2018 recipient of the Rudolf Arnheim Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity and the Arts and 2008 recipient of Daniel E. Berlyne Award from Div. 10 of the American Psychological Association.
