Active Learning Approach for Students with Significant Disabilities
Active Learning is a whole-person, multi-sensory approach of instruction for students of any age with significant disabilities, including sensory impairments, and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).  Based on the work of DrLilli Nielsen of Denmark who shared with the world an Active Learning approach in educating individuals who are developmentally delayed.
